Being as bored as ever, i just turned on the tv and switch to channel 5. It was Oprah. The day's topic was on past life regression. I must say that this topic is really mysterious and a little amazing. Even the most skeptical ones were able to see their past life.

There was these woman who recovered her past life's memories and she was someone from Nepal in the 1930s. She started recalling all the stuff she was doing last time, selling grains all those. She even started speaking in a weird language, later found out to be old Hindu, the language Nepalese in the borders speak. She recalled the town she was in. She told the psychiatrist the name of the town, but none of them could find it anywhere on the map. Then they went on the find an old map, and in it, really showed the town's presence. How scary.

There were many examples.... of woman having phobias now, and the dig deep into their past life to find out why they have these phobias. There was this woman who had this terror of people touching her neck. When she went to the treatment, she found out that she was a royal lady getting strangled by a man she couldn't identify. Thats where her phobia came from and she recovered from that phobia bugging her for many years in just 45 minutes.

I must say, it may not be totally true. It may just be our brain's imagination. Remember we only use about 5% of our brain? What about the other 95%? Such treatment may be, in my opinion, making use of the phobia, and causing the brain to create a scenario that lead to this phobia. The key is in the linking. Our brain is just a damn complex hardware. Its powers is not to be underestimated. If only 5% of the brain is used, we could achieve so much, im sure with 95% of it, we will achieve even more.

However, It may be true. There was so many case studies, so many people agreeing to it. I dunno whether some religions oppose this idea of past life regression, but i myself partially believe it. I am in that grey region trying to figure out whether if its real or not.

It really depends on believes. I have not experienced it, so i won't really know. But if its broadcast on Oprah show, it has to have certain degree of reliance. Thats when social studies source base skills come in. LOL. However, 2 sides of argument really do not yield anything... I dun learn anything agreeing to both sides. Maybe time will show.
